Information Security

GDPR

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on 25 May 2018 replacing the Data Protection Directive (DPD).  As a provider of hosted services, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of information security.

At Adepteo we have been preparing for this for some time and to ensure compliance we have undertaken a number of actions:

  • We have assigned a dedicated resource who is a specialist in both risk management and business processes;

  • We have completed a full audit of both our systems and the data that is received and held.  Along side this exercise we have completed a number of Data Impact Assessments (DIPAs) the results of which have been reviewed and have been incorporated into our standard risk assessments.

  • We are in regular touch with the Information Commissioner's office where appropriate
